RGAC / August 19 / S5 Playoff + Championship - Game Recap
πRGAC Playoff Recap – Season 5 Comes to a Close
The road to the champsionship. And just like that, Season 5 wrapped up with the Vegas Jays crowned as champions, proving that sometimes shooting just a little better than average (and rebounding like you mean it) is all it takes to raise the trophy. It wasn’t always pretty, but it was competitive, and that’s exactly how playoff basketball is supposed to feel in the RGAC. Let’s dive into the performances that shaped the final standings.
πThe Champ – Vegas Jays
Despite being the expansion team and short handed, with role player AlanM doing his Asia Tour, the Jays soared when it mattered most, balancing scrappy defense with just enough offense to outlast the field.
Jay walked away with Finals MVP, edging out teammate Eric with a well-rounded line: 8.5 PPG (league avg: 3.15), 38% FG (avg: 36%), and 6 RPG (avg: 2.06) for a 12.38 PER. He wasn’t flashy, but he was steady, and steady wins banners. Eric was the real stat-sheet stuffer — 7 PPG, 1.5 APG, 1.5 SPG, 2.5 RPG — capped by an 11.75 PER, comfortably triple the league average. Call him the Jays’ Swiss Army Knife.
Ka Ming quietly played the efficiency game: 3 PPG on 67% shooting, 3 RPG, 9.25 PER. The kind of glue-guy stat line every championship team needs. Adrian and Jack didn’t light up the scoreboard, but both grabbed boards above league average (4.5 and 2.5 RPG respectively), proving that rebounding wins playoff games too.
This was a team win, but Jay’s rebounding and Eric’s all-around game sealed it. Banner secured.
2nd Place – Lulu Legends
After securing a ticket to the playoff after defeating the Richmond Crash Dummies in Play-OIn match, The Legends fought all the way to the finals , but efficiency (or lack thereof) was their Achilles heel.
Ted was their rock — 6.67 PPG (more than double the league average), 67% FG (elite), 3.67 RPG — good for a team-high 15 PER. His playoff run was worthy of MVP consideration. The supporting cast struggled with accuracy: Mike (24% FG, 2.83 PER) and Owen (29% FG) put up buckets, but below efficiency benchmarks.
Vlade and Denny chipped in boards, but combined for just 1.34 PPG on 28% shooting.
The team could have used their Smiling Assassin Calvin for some buckets, but due to knee injury, Calvin was forced to sideline.
The Legends played hard, but ultimately, they leaned too heavily on Ted. One more hot hand, and the trophy might’ve been theirs.
3rd Place – Low & Go
Consistency defined Low & Go’s run — but “consistent” isn’t always enough in the playoffs. Don stood tall, leading the way with 5 PPG on a scorching 56% FG, well above the league’s shooting mark. Danny chipped in 3.5 PPG, 38% FG, which is right around average, but grabbed just 1.5 boards compared to the league’s 2.06.
Leo had a rough night: 2 PPG on 18% FG and a -1.5 PER (yes, negative). At least he hustled for 4 RPG, doubling the league average. Kaiser deserves a shout: 3 PPG on 50% FG and a 7 PER, quietly efficient.
Rob flew back on time with his private jet to avoid Air Canada strike, but still not enough. The 2.5 APG (league avg: 0.6) makes him the floor general, but his 16% FG just not enough to get the team out of Round 1 knockout against the Vegas Jays' hot shooting.
Low & Go had balance, but not enough firepower to break through.
4th Place – ASHHF (Adam Silver & Friends)
ASHHF’s regular season dominance didn’t translate to playoff glory, but there were bright spots. JC led the squad with 6 PPG on 60% FG and an impressive 13.5 PER, one of the best individual performances of the night. Fisk was steady as ever: 6.5 PPG (double the average), 38% FG, 10.75 PER. A playoff run in line with his regular season excellence. Justin stuffed the defensive box score with 4 RPG, 1 SPG, 1 BPG — rare numbers in this league — on top of a 9.38 PER.
The rest of the squad struggled offensively: Wyatt, Kevin, and Tonia all sat below-average in scoring and efficiency. ASHHF had flashes, but too many cold shooting nights left them stuck outside the finals picture.
5th Place – Richmond Crash Dummies
The Dummies made some noice in the final few weeks but fell short in the Play-in match up against the Lulu Legends. Jason was the bright spot: 6 PPG on 75% FG (well above league avg 36%), 1 SPG, and an 11 PER. Hyper-efficient in limited touches. Sunny and Liam combined for just 4 points on poor shooting, while Johnny dished 2 assists and 2 boards but couldn’t buy a basket. The team lived up to their name this playoff — a few good hits, but ultimately crashing out early.
Final Thoughts
Season 5 ended the way rec leagues always do — with just enough stats to argue over in the group chat, and just enough missed layups to remind us this isn’t the NBA. The Vegas Jays take home the crown thanks to teamwork, Eric’s all-around grind, and Jay’s timely MVP performance. The Legends were one hot streak away, Low & Go stayed steady but short, ASHHF couldn’t turn regular season dominance into postseason magic, and the Crash Dummies never fully got rolling.
The league average benchmarks (3.15 PPG, 36% FG, 2.06 RPG, 0.6 APG, 0.51 SPG) gave us a clear picture: anyone who doubled those numbers separated themselves from the pack. And with that, Season 5 closes with a new champion, some breakout names, and plenty of fuel for next season’s storylines.
RGAC / August 12 / S5 Week 12 - Game Recap
πRGAC Week 12 Recap – The Calm Before the Playoff Storm
Week 12 felt a little like the episode before the season finale — the one where half the main characters mysteriously disappear from the script. A wave of DNPS or load management swept the league, with many stars apparently “resting” (read: saving their legs for the elimination games) or maybe just perfecting their sideline coaching skills. Still, the show went on, with enough on-court action to shuffle the standings and give us a few memorable performances.
ASHHF – Still on Top
ASHHF closed the Season 5 regular season with a 27–21 record and a +48 point differential. Fisk’s MVP night aside in Week 12, the rest of the squad took it easy after knowing the team already captured the No.1 seed before next week playoff. Wyatt chipped in 1.5 points and 1.25 assists, while Kevin’s 14% shooting kept scorekeepers alert but not overworked. Tonia quietly added 2 points at 40% from the field, just above the league’s average efficiency.
Low & Go – Balanced but Bruised
Now sitting dead even at 24–24, Low & Go saw mixed results. Leo was the standout, dropping 4.75 PPG, 1.5 assists, and swiping the ball 0.5 times per game for a 9.63 PER, more than double the league average. Rob’s 41% shooting (league avg: 30%) and 4.5 PPG kept them competitive. Danny struggled to find the mark at 10% FG, but made up for it with some solid rebounding. Low & Go finished 2nd and will face Vegas Jays (3rd place) in first round knockout playoff.
Richmond Crash Dummies – The Dark Horse
The Crash Dummies finished the regular season at 20–28 (5th place), but the team seems to find their late groove and chemistry. Johnny Crash looked like had turn back the clock with young legs — delivering 7.25 PPG on 50% shooting and a stellar 16.38 PER. Jason’s efficiency was even more eye-popping at 69% FG. Despite Liam and Sunny couldn’t get much going offensively, but they played solid role in their zone defense which hard to break. The groundwork is set and if this team can synchronize for the playoffs, then may start upsetting the top seeded teams.
Vegas Jays – Searching for Rhythm
The Jays struggled from the floor in Week 12 and finished the season at 3rd place — Jack shot just 8% (but did have 1 block per game, though league is under investigation of how he did it because too good to be true), while Jay managed 3.25 PPG on 24% shooting. Ka Ming brought his work on the boards with 3.75 RPG, but the squad will need a scoring spark next week to advance.
Lulu Legends – Staying Dangerous
The Legends (26–22, +50) had a low-volume night, but Mike’s 4.5 PPG on 38% shooting kept them in striking distance. Calvin’s 2 PPG at 40% FG was right on pace with the league average. Denny and Vlad worked the boards while Owen chipped in a few points.
Free Agent Watch
Free agents made their presence felt — Allen impressed with 4.5 PPG on 64% FG and an 8.13 PER, Jeremy added 3.5 PPG with solid rebounding, and Jo grabbed 2.33 boards and Chris contributed on the defensive end. They all build a nice resume for their own in Season 5 and already drawn interests from many team managers for next season draft.
Standings Going Into Playoffs:
- ASHHF – 27W / 21L / +48 PD
- Low & Go – 24W / 24L / -18 PD
- Vegas Jays – 24W / 24L / -28 PD
- Lulu Legends – 26W / 22L / +50 PD
- Richmond Crash Dummies – 20W / 28L / -52 PD
With playoff brackets looming, Week 12’s box scores won’t blow your mind, but they tell a story — a league collectively catching its breath before the sprint to the championship. And if history’s taught us anything, it’s that a quiet week often precedes a very loud one.

Takeaway
-
π MVP of the Night: Fisk (ASHHF)
While the league average PER sat at a humble 4.79, Fisk soared to a 16.5 PER, nearly tripling the standard. He stuffed the stat sheet with 9 PPG on 50% shooting, 2.5 boards, and 1.25 assists — the kind of balanced efficiency you want heading into the playoffs. ASHHF will be counting on this steady two-way play to keep their top spot.
RGAC / July 29 / S5 Week 11 - Game Recap
π RGAC Week 11 Roasting — July 29th - “Buckets were earned, boards were battled for, and the PER gods smiled on a few chosen ones.”
With playoff tension thicker than Jason’s screens and tighter than the rims at half past 8, Week 11 came in gritty, unpredictable, and — dare we say — strangely beautiful. ASHHF stays perched atop the standings at 26–18 (+48), but Lulu Legends are breathing down their necks with a staggering +57 point differential. Meanwhile, Low & Go hold firm at .500 (22–22), the Vegas Jays stay floatin’ like a Monday morning coffee run (20–24), and the Crash Dummies... well, they’re still driving, just not always forward (16–28).
π₯ Adam Silver & His Happy Friends — “Still Smiling, Still Winning”
The top squad kept things rolling, thanks to Justin’s all-around brilliance and
- Fisk: Dropped 4.5 PPG (nearly double the average), pulled 2 RPG, and hit a solid 7.13 PER. One of the more complete performances of the night.
- JC added 3 PPG, a steal, and did a little bit of everything. Could use a FG boost (26%), but the effort’s always there.
- Wyatt had a block, a few boards, and an assist — the kind of stat line that earns a coach’s nod.
- Arny and Kevin kept the rotations moving, though Kevin’s 11% FG might earn him a stern talk with the basketball gods.
ASHHF’s depth wins games — it’s not always flashy, but it works.
πͺ Lulu Legends — “The Calm Before the Storm?”
No massive fireworks this week, but the Legends kept their offense efficient and their turnover count low.
- Mike dropped 3.5 PPG, which beats the average, and added 1.25 APG with a 3.38 PER.
- Owen quietly posted 42% FG, one of the better clips of the week — the man knows how to take good shots.
- Denny was perfect from the field (100% FG), and while it was just 0.67 PPG, that kind of efficiency deserves a slow clap.
- Calvin grabbed a board and contributed on defense, holding down the backline.
Still missing some key firepower (no Vlade, Ted, or full-court chaos), but this team is poised to strike.
π§ Low & Go — “Slowed & Grinding”
It wasn’t the prettiest night, but they’re still right in the mix.
- Don led the way again with 4 PPG on 50% FG — scoring nearly double the league average and shooting above it. Mr. Reliable.
- Leo added 3 PPG, 40% FG, and chipped in a steal — quietly doing the work.
- Danny: Solid effort on the boards (2.5 RPG), but 18% FG isn’t gonna cut it.
- Rob: 2.33 PPG, but 20% shooting and a 2 PER show he’s still warming up.
- WILL-I-AM had a rough one — 0 points and a turnover — but hey, it happens even for G-League MVP to have an off night.
No Kaiser this week, but if they get hot at the right time, they’re dangerous. Just matter when...
π° Vegas Jays — “Playing the Long Game”
A mix of fire and fog this week — a few big stats and a few “let’s just move on” moments.
- Eric: 5.67 PPG (second-highest this week!), 2.67 RPG, and a 7.33 PER — shot just 26%, but the volume made up for it.
- Ka Ming: Workhorse of the night. 2 PPG, 4.33 RPG (including 2.33 offensive boards!), 1.67 SPG, 8 PER — stuffed the stat sheet and brought the energy.
- Jack quietly added 2.67 PPG with a steal — right at league average, doing the little things.
- Jay struggled offensively (1.75 PPG, 18% FG, 1 TO), but did snag a board and stayed engaged.
- AlanM: 0 points but grabbed 2.5 RPG and led the league with 0.75 blocks per game. Rim protection matters!
π₯ Richmond Crash Dummies — “Crashing, But Not Burning”
Yes, they’re 5th in the standings, but they’re scrapping every game.
- Jason was a standout: 4.5 PPG, 52.94% FG, and a 7.94 PER — Top 3 performance of the week. When he’s efficient, they compete.
- Liam added 4.5 PPG as well, though his 31% FG could be tighter. Still, production is production.
- Johnny brought the D: 1.25 SPG, which tied for second-best. Also added 3.25 PPG.
- Alvin hit the glass with 2.5 RPG, doing his part down low.
- Sunny had a quieter week — 0.5 PPG on 17% FG — but at least he’s showing up and putting in the reps.
𧩠Free Agents — “The Unsung Heroes”
These players drop in, make an impact, and disappear like pickup game legends but leaving for sure playing hard to try impress the teams' captains for potential a contract on draft night for Season 6.
- Jo continues to be consistent: 2.67 PPG (above average), 44% FG (one of the best this week), and 3 RPG — quietly one of the most efficient nights.
- Jeremy mirrored Jo’s scoring and added an assist — always a safe plug-and-play option.
- Alex and Allan were off this week, but we’ll see them again.
π Final Takeaway
Week 11 brought out a mix of solid individual performances and playoff-tension mistakes. ASHHF still rule the hill, but Lulu Legends have a better point differential and are lurking with shooters. Low & Go are holding steady, the Vegas Jays show flashes of greatness (shoutout Ka Ming), and the Crash Dummies? They’re not done yet. Every team still has something to prove.
With just a few weeks left before the playoffs, every board, every steal, every PER bump matters. Who will step up next?
See you on the court.

Takeaway
-
β MVP of the Night: Justin (ASHHF)
1.75 PPG | 38% FG | 4 RPG | 1.25 SPG | 1 BPG | 10.38 PER
Don’t let the modest scoring fool you — Justin did everything else like he was auditioning for a Swiss Army Knife sponsorship. Rebounds? Yup. Steals? Absolutely. A block? Why not. He topped every non-scoring category and walked away with the best PER in the league. No one else filled the stat sheet this efficiently. Respect.

The League Average set the vibe with:
2.35 PPG | 32% FG | 0.41 APG | 1.86 RPG | 0.37 SPG | 0.08 BPG | 4.38 PER
It’s the RGAC equivalent of a “meh” Spotify playlist — reliable, but no bangers. So anyone going above this? You’re on the radar.

RGAC / July 22 / S5 Week 10 - Game Recap
π RGAC - Week 10 Roasting — “Where every bucket counts, every board matters, and hustle is half the fun.”
Week 10 is in the books and the playoff race is officially spicy! Adam Silver and His Happy Friends (ASHHF) have nudged their way back to the top at 23W–17L (+44) but Low & Go, Lulu Legends, and the scrappy Vegas Jays are right behind. Even the Richmond Crash Dummies keep finding new ways to surprise people — and maybe themselves.
π₯ ASHHF — “Silver, Friends & Wins”
JC kept pace with 5.5 PPG, an efficient 46% FG, plus solid boards and a 9.13 PER — top three among all players this week. Wyatt added hustle stats with 2.5 RPG, a block, and some buckets. Kevin and Tonia chipped in just enough to keep the rotations fresh. Everyone plays a role!
π¦ Low & Go — “When it Clicks, It Clicks”
Don led the charge again: 5.5 PPG (almost double the average!), sizzling 52.6% FG, and 8.25 PER. When DON-key Kong shoots this well, they win. Leo added a bit of everything: 3 PPG, a couple of dimes, and the glue to keep them organized. Rob slices and dices. Danny and Kaiser the team's junkyard dogs both grabbed boards and got defensive stops — nothing flashy, just solid work to help them stay second in the standings. Team and fans for sure missing their favorite G-League MVP who went to The Brokeback Mountain to find his inner soul.
π° Vegas Jays — “Grinding for Every Win”
The Jays are 19–21 but showing good balance: Eric: 4.5 PPG, strong 35% from deep, 1.25 APG — one of the smoothest releases this week. Jay matched the hustle with 3.75 PPG and 3 RPG, both comfortably above average. Jack sneaked his way through to get a gold star for defense with 1.33 SPG, the week’s top steal mark. Team did miss their top rebounder, Ka Ming, who got busy handling KM's hop on hop off trolley tour for his HKG visitor and missed most of the games in Week 10.
π Lulu Legends — “Certified Shooters”
No team shot the ball better this week (when non of the games count as a win for the Lulu due to lack of core players and forfeited all 4 games). Owen was dialed in: 6.75 PPG, 64% from three, 11.31 PER. If you gave him 10 more shots, he’d light up the scoreboard. Magic Mike: 4.75 PPG, an eye-popping 60% 3PT FG, and 11.19 PER — backcourt splash energy. The Smiling Assassin - Calvin did the dirty work too: 2.67 PPG, 50% FG, and 2.67 RPG. Winning teams need shooters and grinders, and Legends have both but not enough core players to count a win in Week 10.
ποΈ Richmond Crash Dummies — “Building Block by Block”
It’s not always pretty, but it’s progress: Liam kept the scoreboard moving with 5.75 PPG, over double the league average for the night. Jason played a complete game: 3.5 PPG, 2.5 RPG, 1.75 APG, plus a block — all well above average. Sunny pulled down 3 RPG, tied for one of the better rebounding efforts this week. Little things matter, especially when team without Johnny Crash who got knocked down by some virus while team's forward, Darren got injured as the true Crash Dummies from motocycle race.
π Free Agents — “Secret Weapons”
When Free Agents show up, they deliver and they are showcasing for potential high draft pick for Season 6:
- Jeremy: 4 PPG, 50% FG, 2.33 APG — one of the best passing nights anywhere.
- Jo: 2.67 PPG on 40% FG, plus 1.33 SPG — defense and scoring from the bench.
- Alex and Allen brought extra rebounding muscle — a quiet but important boost for teams short on depth.
π₯ Takeaway
This week proved again that everyone can make an impact — from top scorers to gritty rebounders to Free Agents stepping up when teams need it most. Lulu’s shooting is peaking, ASHHF’s balanced core is locked in, and Low & Go keep scrapping for the top. The Jays and Crash Dummies? Still fighting for every point — and that makes the league better.
Next week, it’s all on the line again. Who’s heating up? Who’s sneaking into hero mode? Who’s ready to break that average and carry their squad?
Same court, same hustle. Bring it on.

β MVP of the Night: Fisk the Freak (ASHHF)
5 PPG | 41% FG | 2 APG | 2.25 RPG | 1 SPG | 12 PER
Fisk the Freak already in knockout playoff form played big across the board, scoring well above the average, dishing out assists at triple the league norm, and locking in defensively. A well-rounded night that kept ASHHF at the top when it mattered most.

RGAC / July 8 / S5 Week 9 - Game Recap
RGAC — Week 9 Roasting: “X-n-O, Top Spot Shuffle, Masked Heroes, and Free Agents Who Actually Try.”
Week 9 in a sentence?
Low & Go leapfrogs everyone. Adam Silver & His Happy Friends lack of smile but shrugs. Vegas Jays and Lulu are in mid-table purgatory. The Richmond Crash Dummies keep patching the leaks. Meanwhile, Free Agents lurk around like helpful ghosts filling rosters — and occasionally dropping better numbers than the guys they’re subbing for.
π Low & Go – Finally On Top
It took nine weeks, multiple forfeits, and a million awkward group chats, but Low & Go now sits alone at #1. Not bad for a team named after low expectations. Leo finally woke up: 5 PPG on 43% FG, 11.25 PER, the highest PER on the team and second-best in the league. Did he sleep in his shooting sleeve? Don did his Donkey things: 3.7 PPG, 3.67 RPG, 1 SPG, and a rock-solid presence all night. Kaiser splashed 40% from deep — respectable glue-guy stat line. Danny, Rob, and William were quiet offensively but still rebounded and played D. Danny’s shot was colder than a Vancouver winter (21% FG), but hey, he grabbed 2 boards!! Not the flashiest team and somewhat slow and no go — but they keep winning. That’s terrifying.
𫧠ASHHF – Top Spot Evaporated
They dropped to #2 but not for lack of trying. JC quietly consistent: 5.33 PPG, 40% FG, plus a swipe and a block here and there. Wyatt did some work on the glass (2.67 RPG) and even blocked a shot — not bad for the team’s “does everything else” guy. Kevin shocked the league by scoring 2 PPG on 60% FG — we repeat, 60% FG. He exists! Arny stayed on-brand with minimal stat lines. Their point differential (+47) is still tops — so if the wheels come off, it won’t be because they couldn’t score. It’ll be because Fisk has to do everything alone.
π° Vegas Jays – Slots Still Spinning
This team is your classic flip a coin, maybe win squad. Sitting at an even 18–18. Eric was the hot hand: 5.33 PPG on 39% FG, 8.17 PER, big hustle stats too. Jay is back in mid-season form: 4.75 PPG, 36% FG, right around league average. Adrian went scoreless — tragic. Ka Ming, Jack, and AllanM all chipped in bits and boards, but this team needs a second gear if they want to break into the top three.
π’ Lulu Legends – Stuck in Neutral
.500 record. .500 energy. Very Lulu. Owen actually led the team with 4.25 PPG, but shot 19% FG. Truly the volume shooter experience. Vlade hustled on the glass (3 RPG) but shot 27% FG — we’ve seen this movie before. Ted had a tough night: 3 PPG on 11% FG, -2.25 PER at the forfeited game. That’s not a typo but why not just jacking up the shots when the game was counted as 1L already. Calvin and Denny did cardio and rebounded, but the offense was on vacation. Team definitely missed their go-to-guy Magic Mike who sat out due to nagging injury. Hoping a full sqaud soon which Lulu can still ruin someone’s playoff run — or their own.
π Richmond Crash Dummies – Quietly Not That Bad
Don’t look now, but the Dummies had multiple players above average! Liam: 5.67 PPG, 37% FG, 1 BPG, 9.17 PER — that’s actual impact! Johnny: 4 PPG, 42% FG, 9.42 PER — consistent two weeks in a row. Jason: 2 PPG, 1.5 APG, 2.5 RPG, 7.63 PER. Solid utility man energy. Sunny scored efficiently: 2.67 PPG, 50% FG. Alvin was perfect: 0.5 PPG on 100% FG. Small sample size? Maybe. But don’t ruin it for him. 12–24 on the season — but for once, they looked like a real basketball team.
π€ Free Agents – Unsung Heroes
The silent warriors who plug the gaps. Some highlights:
- Jo: 2 PPG, 4 RPG, 1 SPG, 9.5 PER — basically played better than half the league’s starters.
- Jeremy: 3 PPG, 2.5 RPG, 1 SPG — gritty minutes.
- Chris: 2 PPG, 50% FG, took good shots and didn’t force anything.
- Alex: Didn’t score but grabbed boards. Respect.
Next draft, someone better sign these guys properly — they’re clearly ready.
π§Ύ Final Word
Week 9 blew the race wide open:
- Low & Go is in the driver’s seat — somehow.
- ASHHF has the talent to claw it back.
- Vegas Jays and Lulu Legends need to wake up or stay stuck in neutral.
- Richmond Crash Dummies might be the best last-place team you’ll ever see.
And Free Agents might actually deserve their own team next season (potential 6th team expansion???). Week 10 is do or die. Playoff spots, seeding, pride — all on the line. Maybe we’ll even break 40% shooting next week.
See you on the court. Bring a sub. You might need one. πβ¨

Takeaway

π MVP of the Night: Fisk (ASHHF)
6 PPG | 40% FG | 2 APG | 3.67 RPG | 0.67 SPG | 14.08 PER
Fisk didn’t just show up — he duct-taped ASHHF’s fading first-place dream back together with grown-man buckets, boards, and smooth playmaking. A PER nearly triple the league average? He’s the glue, the tape, AND the stapler.
Key moment
- Game 6 - Vegas Jays V.S. Lulu Legends with 5 seconds left, Vegas Jays trailing 6-8 and went all-in to their lefty sharp shooter, Eric, who took a tight contested 3 point (could be a And-1 too from replay) over his defender and knocked down a buzzer beater 3-point to give Vegas Jays the victory 9-8.

The league average gave everyone a fighting chance:
2.62 PPG | 36.7% FG | 0.48 APG | 1.98 RPG | 0.51 SPG | 0.13 BPG | 4.95 PER
Mediocre enough that even your missed layup couldn’t hurt too much.

RGAC / June 24 / S5 Week 8 - Game Recap
RGAC -- — Week 8 Roasting: “Three-Way Tie at the Top, One Crash Dummy MVP, and a Whole Lot of Mid.”
We’ve entered the Twilight Zone of RGAC standings: ASHHF, Low & Go, and Lulu Legends all locked at 18–14. If this were a group project, everyone would be fighting over who did the most work (hint: none of them shot well). Meanwhile, Vegas Jays remain poker-faced at .500, and the Crash Dummies? Well... even a broken clock wins once a week.
π₯ ASHHF – Holding on for Dear Life
Still technically first, but only because the rest of the league took turns tripping over themselves. JC was back in solid form: 5.25 PPG, 33% FG, 0.75 BPG, and a strong 7.94 PER. Basically the team’s duct tape. Fisk put up decent numbers: 4 PPG, 2.5 RPG, 1.5 APG, but shot 29%, which was… fine to G-League standard (accordingly to G-League MVP Will-I-AM). Wyatt brought rebounding hustle (2.25 Off RPG!) but shot like he was still wearing those COBS oven mitts (22%). Arny hit one shot all night. We wish that was a joke.
ASHHF went 2–2 on the night—just enough to duct tape the team to cling at first, just little enough to worry everyone watching.
πΌ Low & Go – From Low to Whoa (Again)
They’ve caught up. Again. Someone stop them. Don is the team’s steadiest hand: 4 PPG, 47% FG, 2.25 RPG, 8.31 PER. Just vibing. Rob ran the point nicely with 2 APG, 4 PPG, and a sneaky 9.19 PER—second-highest of the night. Danny showed his classic all-around game: 2.75 PPG, 0.75 SPG, and big defensive plays. Kaiser added nice glue-guy stats: 2.25 PPG, 2 RPG, 0.75 SPG, and splashed a couple 3s (37.5%).
With Leo ditched his ex Magic Mike and took fans' fav Will-I-AM up to Brokeback Mountain, the squad did not miss them at all and finished the night with 4W0L and captured full 4 points in Week 8, proving that maybe slow and steady does win the race—especially when everyone else is sprinting into walls.
π Lulu Legends – The Quiet Climb
Lulu went 2W2L and snagged 2 precious season points to stay in the hunt for 1st spot of Season 5. They're now tied with Vegas Jays with total 18 points by the end of Week 8, but in very Lulu fashion, they managed to stay at 4th spot with better winning percentage.
Magic Mike is slowly building a case for All-Richmond Grizzlies Second Team: 4.5 PPG, 40% from three, 5.38 PER. Ted struggled this week: 1.5 PPG, 19% FG, 1.5 PER—let’s call it a rest week because he "practice" on Monday and Wednesday. Calvin stays efficient with his usual smile: 2 PPG, 50% FG, 1 APG. Vlade did some cardio and rebounded (2.25 RPG) while Owen and Denny DNP’d (Did Not Podium).
No flash, no noise—but crafty. Watch out.
π° Vegas Jays – Slot Machines on Cool Down
It was a coin flip kind of night: 2–2, and stats all over the place. Jay was their best player: 5.25 PPG, 38% FG, 8.19 PER, the best he's looked all season. Eric had a rough shooting night (18%) but salvaged it with hustle: 1.67 SPG. Ka Ming grabbed boards (2.67 RPG) and had some defensive touches, but missed shots like it was part of the plan. Adrian went cold: 2 PPG, 22% FG, but added 2.5 RPG. AllanM did his job on the boards (3.33 RPG), which was enough to earn “Nice Effort” status from the coaches.
Despite low shooting percentage, the Jays held steady an found ways to win the winnable games and edged the Lulu Legends in Week 8 to secure 3 points with 2W2L. A little heat and they might still crash the top 3.
π₯ Crash Dummies – Crashed, But Not Dead
Johnny Crash gave his MVP performance as team's emotional leader. Liam and Sunny did what they could, combining for 4.33 PPG and 5.8 RPG, but struggled to score. Jason put up 1 PPG on 18% shooting, which is… a number. Alvin added 1.75 RPG, but this team still lacks structure and… well, points.
1W3L on the night. But hey, they’re still showing up—and sometimes that’s half the battle.
π§Ύ Final Word
This is it: Week 8 officially launched the Battle for the #1 Seed™. ASHHF is clinging to their top spot like it’s a ledge in a bad action movie. Low & Go are the sleeper pick no one wants to face in playoffs. Lulu Legends are back, smiling quietly and ruining everyone's plans. Vegas Jays? Wild card energy. And Crash Dummies… still legally a team but only needing to win "1 Game" in playoff knockout round, so perhaps they don't care their regular season standing.
See y’all in Week 9, where the drama will be real, the shooting hopefully less tragic, and the standings might finally break this three-way tie. Let the chaos continue. πππ₯

Takeaway
-
π MVP of the Night: Johnny “Masked Menace” (Crash Dummies)
6 PPG | 32% FG | 36% 3PT | 3 RPG | 0.67 SPG | PER: 9.46
Yes, the Richmond Crash Dummies produced the MVP. No, this isn’t satire. Johnny had that Michael Jordan flu game energy (but real flu, not marketing). He shot with confidence (or lack of confidence on passing that may lead to turnovers), defended well (or teams put weak defenders on him), and for a moment, made the Dummies look like a real basketball team (until end of the night, they found themselves still got 0 point in Week 8).
Key moment
- Game 4 - RCD V.S. Vegas Jays, when RCD trailing down the stretch but team's emotional leader, Johnny Crash, stepped up with his MVP flu game performance by knocking down 4 deep tryes (including back-to-back) who finished with 12 points and led RCD came back strong by winning Game 4 with final score 16-9.
- Game 10 - Overtime between Low & Go V.S. RCD, Low & Go picked up Jeremy (first game after achilles surgery and rehab) for 1-game contract as Free Agent. Jermey did not disappoint his new team and proved he can still ball by knocking down the game winning 3-pointer to give Low & Go a perfect night with 4W0L.
Key Stats
-
-
League-wide averages this week were the basketball equivalent of lukewarm soup:
π§ 2.26 PPG | 25.73% FG | 0.54 APG | 2.07 RPG | 0.42 SPG | 0.09 BPG | 4.64 PER
A night so cold it needed a parka.
- Points leader: JC and Jay at 21 points each. With Jay also got his first double-double of Season 5 with 21 points and 10 boards.
- Assist leader: Rob finished with 8 assits (the ball for Low & Go is really flowing smoothly).
- Rebound leader: Wyatt with 17 rebounds (8 offensive and 9 defensive).
- Steal leader: Eric picked 5 pockets.
- Block leader: JC proves that he can also play defense with 3 blocks.

RGAC / June 17 / S5 Week 7 - Game Recap
RGAC -- — Week 7 Roasting – “Unofficial Games, Official Chaos”
In a week where games didn’t count but stats absolutely did, Week 7 turned into what can only be described as open gym with a stat tracker. Teams scrambled to field enough players while others forgot their group chats existed. Regardless, the ball still went up, and the numbers told a story that was equal parts inspiring, confusing, and sometimes tragic.
League-wide, we saw modest outputs: 2.79 PPG, 29.57% FG, and a PER of 5.78. So if you missed your shots this week, just know—you weren’t alone.
π MVP of the Night: Fisk the Freak (ASHHF)
8.33 PPG, 50% shooting, 2 APG, and 14.33 PER. It’s unclear what Fisk ate before the game, but rumor has it his stat line was so efficient it got flagged for PED testing. With JC playing sidekick and Justin gobbling boards, ASHHF is back in championship form.
π§ ASHHF – Full Squad, Full Stats
JC played a clean, balanced game: 6 PPG, 55% FG, 1.25 APG, and 12.31 PER. Justin returned to his roots with 5.25 RPG and 0.5 SPG (before he takes his talent to Asia for the next 4 weeks), even though his shot was missing like his upcoming 4 weeks. Wyatt and Tonia were out there… and that’s all we’ll say. And team's role player, Kevin looked like playing a different sport, by putting up a fantasy football stat line: 0-0-0-0-0. But somehow, ASHHF still finished the night at 2nd spot with 3W1L and captured 3 points in Week 7.
π₯ Lulu Legends – Legends Who Showed Up
Mike had one of his best nights of the season: 5.5 PPG, 48% FG, 2.25 APG, and 3 RPG, earning a stellar 13.75 PER. Someone must had poked the Teddy Bear who did his Teddy things: 6 PPG, 3.75 RPG, and a strong 10.31 PER, proving he’s quietly one of the league’s most consistent players. The Smiling Assassin
Calvin turned heads with 3.3 PPG on 56% FG and 0 turnovers. And the Ukranian Tractor Vlade, meanwhile, shot 13% FG, which we’ll call “Vlade-ing” until further notice.
πͺ Low & Go – Solid, Scrappy, Slightly Streaky
Commissioner Danny continued his defensive excellence: 2.75 PPG, 3 RPG, 1.25 SPG. After an hour of prayer, Pastor Don put up 4 PPG on 44% FG with his signature old-man footwork and another offensive rebound (because of course), AMEN to that!! Rob led the team in scoring with 5 PPG, 40% FG, and 0.67 APG. Not flashy, but effective. Leo, still searching for his jump shot, hit 2.6 PPG on 20% FG, but we respect the volume. Kaiser added some glue guy stats: 2 RPG, 0.75 APG, 0.25 BPG. Despite all that, the team missed their G-League MVP Will-I-AM who slept in and caused the team to forfeit one game, which potentially leading him to be traded.
π° Vegas Jays – Hot/Cold Slots Vibes
Eric continues to be a bright spot: 5.75 PPG, 32% from deep, 0.75 APG, and 9.88 PER. A reliable spark. Jay had a rough go: 0.5 PPG, 7% FG, but a surprisingly team-high 1.75 APG and 1.75 RPG. Facilitator arc?
Ka Ming brought his usual grit: 2.75 RPG, 0.5 SPG, 0.5 BPG. Not glamorous, but crucial. AllanM chipped in with 1 PPG and 1.25 RPG, but struggled to get looks.
π Richmond Crash Dummies – Running on Hope and Hustle
Liam was the top scorer again with 4 PPG, 33% FG, and 0.4 BPG. Call him the Dummies' duct tape, lots of patching jobs still need to be done for this team.
Sunny had a quiet night: 1.75 PPG, 38% FG, 2.5 RPG. Solid role player minutes. Jason posted 2.67 PPG, 33% FG, and 0.33 BPG, giving consistent effort even if shots aren’t dropping. Johnny, battling a fever (and a facemask), toughed out 1.75 PPG and 2.25 RPG—a warrior’s stat line if we’ve ever seen one. Alvin gets hustle points with 2.25 RPG and 1 SPG.
π Final Word
The race is tightening. Lulu is closing in, Low & Go and Vegas are in a dead heat, and ASHHF is hanging on to the top spot by a thread. Meanwhile, the Crash Dummies are... still technically in the league (duct taped at the bottom).
As we head into the final stretch, one thing is clear: stats don’t lie—but they do occasionally mislead, especially if you only read PER.
See you in Week 8, where we’ll find out who’s heating up and who’s just showing up.
=====
Takeaway
- Despite The Lulu Legends had to forfeit 1 of the 4 game due to lack of core players and finished Week 7 with 3W1L (tied ASHHF), but they won the tie breaker game and so finished 1st in Week 7 and got all 4 points.
Key moment
- Also the "Play of the Night" which went viral in group chat, the chase down block by Liam on Kaiser in Game 6. It was just one single play, but it was a draw-dropping single play.
Key Stats
- Fisk - 25 points, 6 assists, 7 rebounds
- Ted (strong double-double) - 24 points and 15 rebounds
- Other top defensive stats:
- Justin - 21 rebounds
- Danny & Vlade - 5 steals
- Ka Ming & Liam - 2 blocks
RGAC / June 10 / S5 Week 6 - Game Recap
RGAC -- — Week 6 – June 10th “Four teams, one record, and a whole lot of chaos.”
Welcome to the week where everything got spicy. The standings are now tighter than a pair of compression shorts two sizes too small, with Low & Go, Vegas Jays, and Lulu Legends all tied at 13–11. Meanwhile, ASHHF still leads at 14–10, but their grip on first is shakier than a toddler holding a smoothie. Even the Crash Dummies are starting to look... functional? Buckle up, because Week 6 was full of surprises, stats, and a couple of “Did that really happen?” moments.
π ASHHF: Still First, But It’s ComplicatedIt’s hard to stay on top when everyone below you is gaining momentum and you’re shooting like the lights are off. Fisk continues to be ASHHF’s stabilizer, leading with 4.75 PPG, 4 RPG, and 1 APG on a decent 36% FG—which, compared to the league average (31%), is practically All-Star level. Justin grabbed 3.25 boards, but shot just 27% FG, while Arny (1.5 PPG, 23% FG) and JC (3.5 PPG, 29% FG) continued their campaign for the "Least Efficient Bucket." Even Kevin made the box score with 0.5 RPG, which is like finding a loonie in your laundry—unexpected but appreciated. If ASHHF is going to stay on top, they’ll need a bit more from everyone, or start negotiating with the basketball gods.
π Low & Go: From Basement to BoomJust weeks ago, they were “Low,” and now they’re going places. Low & Go now sits at 13–11, one game back of first, and arguably the hottest team in the league. Their offense this week was smoother than a Spotify jazz playlist. Danny and Don both balled out with 4 PPG and 5 PPG respectively, each hitting 58% FG like they’ve been secretly training in a gym with no roof. Leo cooled off a bit (3.25 PPG, 31% FG) but still contributed, while Rob ran the point with 2.25 APG. Bonus shoutout to William, who grabbed a team-high 3.5 defensive rebounds, and newcomer Kaiser, who stepped in with 2.5 PPG on 66.7% from three—an instant fan favorite if your fantasy team awards points for vibes.
π₯ Vegas Jays: Eric, Lord of BucketsEric didn't just play well—he owned the night. With 7.33 PPG on 50% from three, 4 RPG, and a performance smoother than Ka Ming’s haircut, he’s your Week 6 MVP. Speaking of Ka Ming, the basketball gods giveth and taketh—just 1.75 PPG on 27% FG, but still hustling on the offensive glass. Adrian had a quieter week (3.33 PPG, 38% FG), and Jay struggled (2 PPG, 21% FG), but gave some playmaking with 1 APG. AllanM, however, finished with just 0.5 PPG on 16.7% FG, which we assume was part of a long-term performance art piece titled The Absence of Points.
π Lulu Legends: Three-Way Tie, One-Way StreetThe Legends are technically in the hunt at 13–11, but they played this week like they’d rather be in the stands eating nachos. Mike led the team with 4.25 PPG, but only hit 11.11% FG. How? We don’t know either, but his 8.69 PER proves he did something right. Ted chipped in 3.5 PPG on 35% FG and 1.5 RPG, solid by league standards. Vlade and Calvin grabbed rebounds and moral victories, while Owen continued to chuck from three at 11%, like a man on a personal mission to challenge the laws of geometry.
π₯ Crash Dummies: Mayhem with MomentumThe Dummies went 2–2 this week, and we don’t know what’s more shocking—the wins or the fact that Jason dropped a 10.17 PER with 40% shooting. Johnny caught fire from deep (4.25 PPG, 41% from three), and Sunny made the most of his shots with 2 PPG on 60% FG. Liam continued to be a defensive pest with 0.75 blocks per game, and Alvin is slowly emerging as the league’s most unassuming shot blocker with 0.5 BPG. Honestly, this team is now the basketball equivalent of a raccoon in your garage—you laughed at first, but now you’re kind of afraid.
π League Averages – Week 62.49 PPG | 31% FG | 0.44 APG | 1.66 RPG | 0.37 SPG | 0.16 BPG | 4.76 PERThe moral of the story: If you’re scoring more than 3 points and shooting better than 35%, congratulations—you’re basically the MVP this week.
Final ThoughtsWe are officially at peak chaos. Four teams are separated by a single game, and every win from now on could shift the entire playoff picture. If Week 6 taught us anything, it’s that shooting is optional, PER is confusing, and heart still counts for something. Unless you're Lulu Legends. Then maybe it’s time for a team dinner or a sage cleansing ritual.
See you next week—where someone’s title dreams will rise and someone else’s jumper will hit the rafters.

Takeaway
- The Low & Go back-to-back top the night (Week 6) with 3W1L and captured full 4 points and climbed to Season Standing 2nd spot.
Key moment
- 2 crucial "Kevin Durant's toe on the line" calls:
- Game 5 - RCD VS Vegas Jays, with under 30 seconds, Liam stepped back and knocked down a long range. But upon video reviewed and confirmed toe was on the line and ruled 2 points only. RCD lost Game 5 with final score 13-14.
- Game 7 - Lulu Legends VS Vegas Jays, where back-n-forth between Mike and Eric trading baskets. Crucial call on Mike's foot on the line and gave Lulu 2 points lead down the stretch and setup Eric who knocked down a deep 3 to lead Vegas Jays to victory with final score 14-13.
Key Stats
- Eric - 22 points (Week 6 high) with 6 3 points (6/12 shooting)
- Fisk (strong double-doublt Week 6 night) - 19 points and 16 rebounds
- Rob - 9 assists, 4 steals
RGAC / June 3 / S5 Week 5 - Game Recap

RGAC -- — Week 5 “Shooting slumps, superhero PERs, and the race to .500.”
The league's fifth week of action was more unpredictable than a group chat RSVP. While ASHHF clung to the top spot like a desperate TikToker to their last viral post, Low & Go and Vegas Jays decided to cosplay as contenders with identical .500 records. The Crash Dummies even won some games, presumably by confusing their opponents with existential questions like “Why are we here?”
Let’s jump into the glorious chaos.
π§ ASHHF: The Brains, the Brawn, the Bricklayers
ASHHF went 13–7 and held onto first place with a solid +53 point differential, but this week’s offense looked like they were playing with oven mitts on. Fisk was the bright spot, running point like a conductor (2.5 APG) and putting up an efficient 8.56 PER despite shooting just 22.2% from the field. JC came back from his week off to drop 5.33 PPG, good for second-highest in the league—but he did it on 34.78% FG, which is about as reliable as an umbrella in a windstorm. Arny (2.67 PPG, 36% FG) and Wyatt (1.67 RPG, 0.33 BPG) filled in the gaps with grit. Justin, normally a stat sheet darling, quietly grabbed 2.5 boards and stayed mostly out of trouble. The team is still winning, but the vibes are very much "we’ll fix it in playoffs."
π Lulu Legends: Slipping, But Still Spicy
Once neck-and-neck for #1, Lulu Legends have now slipped to 12–8 and a +25 point differential. The wheels haven’t fallen off, but there’s definitely a wobble. Ted was the steadiest contributor this week with 3.67 PPG and 2.33 RPG, basically doing all the little things while everyone else… struggled. Vlade added 1.75 PPG and 2.5 RPG, and Owen continued his journey as the league’s most prolific “almost shooter,” going 25% from three. Special shoutout to Mike, who put up a tragic -1.33 PER on 11.1% shooting. His performance was so low, scientists are using it to measure deep-sea pressure.
β¬οΈ Low & Go: From Low to Whoa?
Low & Go are now sitting at a cool 10–10, rising from the basement like a montage scene in a sports movie. But let's not sugarcoat it—this week was ugly. Leo, last week's flamethrower, couldn’t buy a bucket, shooting 15.79% FG while still leading his team with 2.67 PPG. That tells you all you need to know. Rob matched the shooting woes (also 15.79% FG), and Don wasn’t far behind (28.57%). But Danny? He snagged 1.5 offensive rebounds per game, making him the basketball version of a raccoon—always finding scraps where no one else is looking.
π° Vegas Jays: Bet on Adrian
Vegas might be a gamble, but Adrian was pure gold. He’s your Week 5 MVP with a 9.63 PER, dropping 4.5 PPG on a super-smooth 56.25% FG, while adding 1.5 steals and 1.5 boards. This man is what every team wants: low-maintenance and highly effective. The rest of the squad… not so much. Jay and Eric both shot 15.79%, which is less “cold streak” and more “cryogenic.” Ka Ming was effective on the boards (3.5 RPG) but went 0% from three, proving that even he isn’t immune to the league-wide perimeter curse.
𧱠Crash Dummies: Progress in Motion
They’re still last at 5–15, but the Richmond Crash Dummies have now logged more wins than awkward airballs per game (barely). Jason was a rare bright spot, scoring 3.5 PPG on 35% FG, with 1.75 RPG—all above league average. Liam continued his quietly solid campaign with 3.5 PPG, 6.44 PER, and no unnecessary drama. And Johnny surprised the world by posting a 6.25 PER and grabbing 3.67 boards, meaning we can officially retire the “least valuable player” joke… for now. Alvin also joined the stat sheet with a 0.33 block, making it his official league debut on paper.
π League Averages – Week 5
2.11 PPG | 28.3% FG | 0.48 APG | 2.31 RPG | 0.43 SPG | 0.13 BPG | 4.30 PER
As always, these are the lines to beat. If you're above them, great. If you're below them, maybe just yell louder when your team scores—hype counts too.
Final Thoughts
Week 5 brought defensive grinds, cold shooting, and a lot of hard-fought wins that looked more like wrestling matches than basketball games. Still, the standings are tightening, and every team—yes, even the Dummies—has something to build on. The league is officially at its halfway point, and nothing is guaranteed... except that at least one person will forget their water bottle again next week.
See you on the court.
=====
Takeaway
- Despite shooting woe and low PER for the entire team, the Low & Go did top Week 5 with 3W1L and captured full 4 points.
Key moment
- Game 8 - Low & Go VS ASHHF showcasing the true meaning of defense wins champion. Both teams hardly could buy a bucket until 3+ minutes left, with L&G Kaiser scored the first basket of the game. Eventually Low & Go secured Game 8 victory by limiting ASHHF to just 2 points.
Key Stats
- Adrian - 18 points, 3 assists, 6 rebounds and league high 6 steals.
- Fisk (triple-double night) - 12p points, 10 assists, 18 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block.
- JC (double-double night) - 16 points and 10 rebounds
RGAC / May 27 / S5 Week 4 - Game Recap

RGAC -- — Week 4 of league action brought us even more plot twists than a late-season episode of Succession. After 16 games played per team, ASHHF and Lulu Legends now share the same record at 11–5, with ASHHF barely clinging to the #1 spot thanks to a +48 point differential. But let’s be honest: the real winner of the week was chaos. Let’s dive in.
=====
Takeaway
- Lulu Legends climbed to tie ASHHF with same 11W5L record. Richmond Crash Dummies still sitting at the bottom with 0 total point.
Key moment
- Game 3 - Richmond Crash Dummies VS Lulu Legends, where first team ever threw in the zone defense (from RCD) to try stop the Lulu bigs.
- Game 4 - Vegas Jays VS Low & Go. Recorded 10 3pts made in this game. Ka Ming finished with 4 3PTS and Leo as well including the buzzer beater 3 point to force game into overtime.
Key Stats
- Leo filled the stats sheet in Week 4 with 26 points (6/10 3PT), 4 assists, 7 rebounds and 1 steal.
- Eric came close with 23 points, including 7 3PTS made.
- Ka Ming showcased his skillset on both ends of the floor, finished Week 4 with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 block
RGAC / May 13 / S5 Week 2 - Game Recap

RGAC -- — Week 2 shook loose a few surprises, but the pecking order remained mostly intact. ASHHF (Adam Silver & His Happy Friends) still sit atop the table at 7–1 with a daunting +39 point differential—but even they showed a human side. Fisk the Freak staggered out of the gate with just 3.75 PPG on 33% shooting, though he hauled in 3.75 RPG like a man possessed. Justin the CN Tower despite playing with a lower back stiffness and mustering only 1 PPG (25% FG), but still snagged 4 boards and even swiped 1 steal, proving that defense never naps. Wyatt the Baker sprinkled in 2 PPG on 42.9% shooting, blocked 0.33 shots, and turned it over just 0.33 times, just like his Shake & Bake routine in the bakery.
Hot on their heels, the Lulu Legends improved to 5–3 (+11), but finished Week 2 at 4th place with 1 point (2W2L and loss the tie breaker against Vegas Jays). Despite team starting PG Magic Mike back from Brokeback Mountain and Teddy "Grizziles" Bear stepped in with 3.0 PPG and 2.75 RPG, while Vlade the Ukrainian Tractor chipped in defensively with 1 steal per game, they not able to unleash Owen the 3pt Bomber freely in Week 2, who only finished with 10 points (2/6 3PTS).
Currently sitting at 3rd place with 4-4 record, Low & Go fought hard in Week 2 with 3W1L. After a horrible season opener with 4 bigs and no guard line-up, team got back on track in Week 2 with 1 of their 2 offensive engine back, Leo who torching rims for 5.25 PPG on 52.94% shooting, dishing 2.5 assists, and snagging 2 rebounds—all on a 12.13 PER that screamed, “I belong in the highlight reel.” Leo's presence also benefit team's other 2 bigs in scoring with Don efficient with 4.5 PPG at 50% FG, and G-League MVP Will-I-AM chipped in 2.75 PPG on 50% shooting where he also start showcasing his new offense game at the 3pt line as well. On the defense end, Danny the Commissioner finished with 8 rebounds and 4 steals while Kaiser tuned into his "in the moment" mindset affected many opponents' shots, including throwing his entire body to knock down Jason Shuttlesworth from his baseline jumper.
The expansion team Vegas Jays is currently at 4th place with at 4–4 record as well. After missing the season opener, both Jay and Eric returned in Week 2 to secure team's backcourt. While team's 1st round pick, Adrian, continues to shine by leading their charge with 4.0 PPG on 47% shooting, pulled down 2.25 rebounds, and earned a teamβbest 7.25 PER. Ka Ming quietly grabbed 1.75 boards per game at 40% FG. If they ever decide to show up, watch out.
Down in the cellar, the Richmond Crash Dummies remain winless at 0–8 (–48). Every stat feels like a participation trophy: Jason squeezed out 2 PPG and 4.75 RPG, Sunny mustered 1.5 PPG on 18.8% shooting, and Liam managed 1 PPG despite only a 14.3% clip. They’re auditioning for a horror remake called “Night of the Walking Dummies.” Will they finally get a full team to put up a real fight in Week 3, we shall see.
All told, Week 2 reminded us that even the most polished teams can stumble, underdogs can bite back, and some franchises might be stuck in a tragic comedy. Can ASHHF maintain their stranglehold? Will Lulu close the gap? And will the Dummies ever wake up? Stay tuned.
Takeaway
- 3-way tie among Lulu Legends (2nd place), Low & Go (3rd place) and Vegas Jays (4th place). Week 3 will be crucial on teams' standing.
Key moment
- Game 5, trailing with 3 minutes left, Low & Go Splash Bro put on a show with 9-2 run with Leo and G-League MVP Will-I-AM carried the offensive load and led the team came back to beat Vegas Jays with finals score of 15-14.
Key Stats
- Low & Go Leo flirted his own triple-double in Week 2 by finishing the night with 21 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds.
- Week 2 high in rebound with 19 boards belong to Jason, the only positive spot for the Richmond Crash Dummies after opening the season with 0-8 record.
RGAC / May 6 / S5 Week 1 - Season 5 Opener Game Recap

RGAC -- — Week 1 tipped off the new season with intensity, and ASHHF (Adam Silver & His Happy Friends) came out swinging. The defending champ finished the night with a dominant 4-0 record and a +30 point differential, setting the tone early as the team to beat.
Leading the charge was ASHHF's 1st round pick (Season 5, 5th overall) Justin the CN Tower, who earned this week's MVP honours with a stellar PER of 13.81, went a perfect 100% from three (1/1, his new arsenal) and hauled in 5.5 rebounds per game. ASHHF's new captain, JC the Flash, paced the league in scoring, averaging 7.5 points per game on an efficient 48.89% shooting, while Fisk the Freak also contributed across the board with 5.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1 assist per game. At the point, the team newly addition, Wyatt the Baker who came out from retirement, kept the offense steady with 1.4 assists and only 1 turnover per game, and Arnie the Baseline Shooter chipped in offensively, shooting 35.3% from two-point range.
Close behind, the Lulu Legends finished 3-1 and showcased a balanced, disciplined approach with their newly formed Twin Towers. Teddy "Grizzlies" Bear led the entire league in playmaking with 1.75 assists per game and added defensive pressure with 1 steal per game, tying for the league lead. Calvin the Smiling Assassin, matched Justin’s hot hand from long range, also hitting 100% of his threes, while team's OG Vlad the Ukrainian Tractor was a quiet defensive anchor, averaging 1 steal per game as well. Owen the 3pt Bomber (taking his talent to the Lulu Island when ASHHF could not matchLulu's offer in the off season) showed his green light from deep, attempting 4.67 threes per game and connecting on 28.57%, comfortably above the league average of 26.68%.
Low & Go struggled to find footing, shooting, passing, defending, everything.... playing without key players Leo (injured his back on Brokeback Mountain) and Rob (chopping watermelon but ended up slicing his finger and sent to ER). In their absence, shooting woes defined their day - with 1st overall pick Danny the Commissioner shot 8.3% from the field (already lots of controversial discussion out there did Low & Go wasted their 1st pick). Even all time fans favorite, G-League MVP, Will-I-Am could not save the night for Low & Go who finished 7.1% FG% shooting. There are definitely lots of X-n-O adjustments need to be made for this team to fully utilize the big 4.
The Crash Dummies were also shorthanded, with 4 key guys (Liam, Jason, Johnny and Darren) took the load management to a different level by camping in the woods and partying in Asia. Team left with lone ranger, Sunny who stood out with a solid performance, averaging 3.0 points per game on 44.4% shooting, providing a rare bright spot.
Finally, the expansion team Vegas Jays, without their team captain, Jay (hangover in Vegas) and Eric (illness), leaned on their remaining players to keep pace. Team's 1st round pick (Season 5, 2nd overall) Adrian the MPT did not disappoint the crowd. This gave Low & Go a 2W2L night in Week 10 and finished 2nd place with 3 points (by winning the tie breaker against the R.C.D. who also finished Week 10 with 2W2L). Team Leaderboard ranking also adjusted accordingly.

Don's absence definitely impacted the team's interior presence; despite league's rebound leader, Ka Ming, finished the night with 18 rebounds (included 11 offensive boards), but it was just not enough.
Lulu Legends and Low & Go each finished with 1W3L but Lulus won the tie-breaker in Game 4, so finished 3rd place in Week 10 with 2 points, which put them in 3rd place at team leaderboard with 22 points and still in striking distance to over take R.C.D. at 2nd place with 23 points or even challenge 1st place ASHHF at 28 points.
Week 11 would be crucial night where either the ASHHF will run away early to take home the first ever Wyatt O'Sze's trophy or other teams get closer to challenge them.
